WHY BUY LOCAL??

Because it's better for the environment, it's better for your community, and ultimately, it's better for you!

Did you know that approximately 80% of flowers sold here in the US are grown in other countries? In addition to the massive carbon footprint the shipping and transport of these flowers leave behind, this type of mass production requires flowers be grown with pesticides and weed killers, cut days, or even weeks earlier and sprayed with a variety of chemicals and sometimes even perfumes, to ensure that they arrive to their destination looking and smelling “fresh."

When you choose to purchase flowers grown locally, from small farms, in your own community you're not only supporting your local businesses, but you can also be sure that your flower are grown with the utmost care and attention. Our growers are committed to using sustainable practices, avoiding chemicals, and preserving local wildlife. Plus, they often have a unique selection that is not available from larger flower retailers.
